CWM
#11

I discovered that the instructions in the manual are not that clear

CWMSetup  allows you to check that the CWM is online, but dont use the Configure  button to set it up. You can use the Change IP button to change the IP address to the same as your PC eg 192.168.0.X where the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0

Once the IP address is changed, then follow \"Setting up the CWM\" on page 11
ie type the address http://x.x.x.x/admin.htm on the address bar where x.x.x.x is the new IP address of the CWM to get into the setup screen
Apologies for the confusion.

Sorry more problems.

1) When I initially set up the CWM I just wanted to use it on the local LAN so I left the LAN configuration blank.  I now want to move on to accessing through  the web and the configuration program will not take me back to that page.

2) I mentioned this in an e-mail but using your Dynamic IP setup doesn\'t seem to work as it uses your old web site.  I thought I might fix it by getting an update but that also looks at the old web site.

First of all, can you access the CWM on the local LAN?  If you are still using the default IP address, it will be http://10.0.0.16

You don\'t need the CWMSetup program to access the configuration page.  Use  address http://10.0.0.16/admin.htm (assuming that your IP is 10.0.0.16).  If your port has changed from the default 80, then the address will be http://10.0.0.16:portnumber/admin.htm , where portnumber is the new port number that you have set.  Hence, if the new port number is 8080, then the address will be http://10.0.0.16:8080/admin.htm .

Once you have setup the network properly, then do \"Update CWM\".  Be patient on this one, as the screen may seem \"hang\" while CWM is updating with the new files.  Wait until the summary screen comes out.

If you are able to update correctly, the Dynamic IP should work correctly.

You can send me private messages, if you still encounter problems.

A new version of CWMSetup (version 1.2.0.1) is now available at
https://www.cytech.biz/Default.aspx?cmd=sQ0OYE9X66w%2b0P%2bAcFsmAI3j73Rwtfrj&fileid=204&dcid=4&pageindex=

The Configure button now sends you to the correct page in the webserver, ie admin.htrml
