This all started when DST ended last weekend. - I noticed that Comfort hadn\'t updated when it was supposed to. Upon checking a few days later, i saw that the the DST time program was disabled, so that explained why it never advanced the hour...
However, seeing as it didn\'t do it automatically, I\'ve been trying to do it manually, and I can\'t believe the amount of grief this is giving me!! - no matter what I do, I can\'t seem to get the new time to \"stick\"...
I\'ve tried setting the time manually from the keypad menu (9-2-2). After I enter the nuber for \"hours\" the keypad display updates correctly to show the new time...- Until, that is, I sign out, at which point the keypad display reverts back to the original time. - I\'ve tested to see if it is just moving back an hour or if it is actually reverting to the original time, - to test this I deliberatelly set the hour forward by 2, thinking that if it is just losing 1 hour, then if I set forward it by two, I\'d end up with the right time.. as soon as I signed out of the menu, the time (on the keypad display) reverted to the original value, - i.e. it went backwards by the two hours i added...
I\'ve also tried applying the \"Set Comfort date/time\" option in Comfigurator under the Transfer menu, then going & looking at the keypad display, - it STILL shows the time an hour behind..
I\'ve manually run the DSTAdjust+1 response, and the keypad STILL shows the time 1 hour behind...
Now curiously, I\'ve started to dig a bit deeper than just using the keypad display... turning on the UCM IO monitor, I can see the DT commands and the responses to them, and interestingly as a result of my repeated attempts I can see that the internal Comfort clock does appear to be at the right time, - but only until I do anything that does a system reset at which point the hour comes off again, and everything is behind once more... I can repeat this behaviour absolutely consistently... I can set the correct value for the hour either by:
- Set comfort clock from PC
- Manually via the keypad
- running the DSTAdjust+1 response
Under any of these circumstances, even when the RTC is correct, the keypad display will be 1 hour behind, so the keypad is NOT displaying the true time as per comfort\'s clock. At no point over the last week has the keypad display shown the right time for any more than the few seconds after I set it in the voice menu.
If I do *anything* which causes a system reset, the time will revert to the -1 hour value and be an hour behind again. The keypad diaplay will now match the actual value that comforts RTC says...
So I can \"sort of\" get the RTC clock to the correct time, but it absolutely will not stick past a reset, and I absolutely can\'t get it to show the correct time on the keypads.
This ought to be such a simple function, that it is driving me to distraction...
How the ***ck can I make this bloody thing accept the right time?
TIA
