Are you saying that you can now see the garage door status on the Control Menu as you have shown?

You have status feedback as Sensor, so that will show the status of a Comfort Sensor. This will work if the garage door sensor is connected to Zwave and mapped to sensor

If the garage door is a magnetic reed switch connected to a zone then the status should be Zone
