Disabling phone trouble controller

I have a situation today where my PSTN phone line has deteriorated badly to the stage now where the Phone Trouble Controller status is bad all the time on Comfort.
How can I disable the Phone Trouble Controller for the time being so that Comfort does not keep sending out a warning alarm every so often?

In Comfort tab go to Configuration >> Modules and Settings >> Configuration Flags and check the check-box for \'Ignore Line Cut\'.
Write this change to Comfort afterward.

Any way of replicating this procedure of programming on the keypad itself without the use of the configurator software?
