Change requests and bug reporting
#1
Looking good. Tis there a way we can formally submit bugs and change requests? Might be a good way to keep track and prioritise things for the next version.

The forum is kind of OK it is just that people start chatting about things, what we need is concise list of items and perhaps a voteing button then we can flag our issues...

eg:

1:  Update IR utility to import hex codes                                       (2 votes)
2:  Maintain sort orders                                                                  (2 votes)
3:  Save Comms parameters with client file, not configurator     (1 vote)

Each subject can then breakout into threads.

I guess this is down to the functionality off the forum SW but might be worth requesting the facility if it does not exsist already.

A real powerful way of letting us, the consumers, tell you what our priorities are!

When we get these requests, I do add them to a list to be considered
Do you have an online tool in mind which can support these requests and polls?

No, just thought it up. The nice thing about this approach is that we can all see our thoughts. You can still keep your own internal lists etc. The obvious disclamers will have to be in place as it is obvoius that you would not be able to practically address all that gets mentioned. A simple idea from us could have huge implications to you.

I see that WowBB supports the voting just not sure if supports user creatable lists etc. I\'ll give them a shout.

On your list for the next version of Comfigurator can you add the REMark function to the actions list when editing responses?

I know this can be done manually but would be more convenient if it were available while programming. Maybe the select action window could have a remarks box that would be appended to the end of the command. Makes for easier to decipher code, if used.

Footnote from Admin
Comfigurator now has remarks in Responses
