Hi
I have just upgraded to Cbus 2 and all is well apart from triggerin Cbus 1 to trigger a group I would put in
Cbus RampInst UCM-Cbus 150 255 202
which gave
197,19,150,2,15,253,202, 255
this was converted by Comfigurator 3.8.8 to
Cbus2 UCM-Cbus 202 150 2,0
which gave
197,19,5,202,0,2,150,0, 255
which didnt triggger the group
so I put 255 in and I get told that Invalid Action Selector: Cbus2 UCM-Cbus 202 150 2,255
So I put in 254 and it all works fine i.e. it turns the light on in a cbus switch configured for trigger group BUT It doesnt work in Homegate or Ctouch software that needs a trigger of 255
is this a bug with Configurator 3.8.8
The rest all looks great so far
Congratulations to you all for the hard work which must have gone into this

Try 197,19,5,202,0,2,150,15,253,255.
This is Instantaneous Ramp to 255. Seems Comfigurator does have an issue converting them. I am also waiting for the next release.

Thanks but Comfigurator still says
Invalid Action Selector:Cbus2 UCM-Cbus 202 150 2.255
I used
Edit Action Codes
197,19,5,202,0,2,150,15,253,255
I think Comfigurator doesn\'t like 255 in the trigger group.

I\'m not a CBus expert but isn\'t 121 the code for ON?

The conversion of cbus actions from cbus1 to 2 works only with the lighting application
This should be fixed in the next comfigurator

The Trigger Application uses the \'Instant Ramp\' and not the \'Switch On\' command. \'On\' will probably work but it\'s not in the Cbus spec.

Julian is right, I was thinking of the Enable Control application. Because the Trigger Application is compatible with the Lighting application it accepts On|Off and Ramp commands. It is however advised NOT to use a Ramp Over X Seconds so Yes, On|Off and Instantaneous Ramp will all work.
