Counters and  Flags can be used to link or interface to and between 3rd party systems.

For example, if Flag 1 is mapped to a KNX 1-bit object, and the same Flag is mapped to a Modbus Register, then this flags links the KNX and Modbus object together. That means that  changing the state of the KNX object will also cause the Modbus  register to  be changed to the same state.

Also changing tne state of the flag from a Comfort Response will change the state of both the KNX and Modbus Object.

The same applies to Counters which are 16 bit registers (whereas Flags are 1 bit binary objects

This applies to any pair of 3rd party systems eg KNX to Cbus, Cbus to Modbus, KNX to Universal UCM etc. It can also be applicable for 3 or more 3rd party systsmes eg KNX, Cbus and Modbus can be mapped to he same Flag or Counter.

SNTP  Setting

Check that the local time is correct. Select one of the servers in the NTP Server Pool. These are a list of International NTP servers that provide the local time adjusted for Daylight saving where applicable

The NTP Synchronize Interval is the interval for the updating of time to Comfort. 60 minutes is the recommended interval athough you can set a shorter time for testing.
If the time difference is less than 4 seconds, the Comfort time is updated but  is not recorded in the event log.
\"Send Time to Comfort\" should be checked if the time should be sent to Comfort.
Leave it unchecked if you do not want to update Comfort Time.
Comfort will correct for any Daylight saving Time adjustments based on the Sunrise/Sunset times settings so it is important to get the setting to the correct location.

I had a look at Laser systems web and it the module appears to be 3G Will it work with 4G?

Early morning we had serious thunder and lightning, the alarm went off (tamper, communication loss), could not use the keypad to disarm, eventually had to reset the slave that had the siren to get it to stop, then I had to reset all the slaves so I could arm again.

Clearly it was a good thing that I was at home, but how do I prevent this from happening, especially if we are not home, the would have been no way to stop the siren.
Am using Comfort Ultra 7.201 with two slaves (7.207)

Hi guys,Im stuck on a little project with Node-Red & R-PI I have created a prescene detector using the wifi and my phone once it goes out of distance then you can programme it to do whatever.
The issue I have is that I want it to be able to do it so that I can use multiple static Ip address so that the last person out with their phone will automaticaly turn the alarm on and first person back will turn alarm off ect anyone know how to do a flow for that.
Also has anyone got the flow for lightwaveRF I used to have it but cannot recall the guys name who gave it to me (everything to wiped when the R-PI went down) since slack group closed.

I have a UCM/Pi that failed a couple of years ago. I think it happend when uploading a firmware upgrade to it, either the file was corrupt or I used the wrong file.
At the time, I tried using the firmware programming cable without success so I just ordered a replacement.
I would like to recover it if possible, to use for testing and as a spare as I have a CM4 and a CM3 to CM4 adaptor. The PWR, RDY & ACT LEDs are green and I do see a flash from the Pi boot on the screen when I power it up, but then it goes blank.
Any thoughts on if it\'s possible to recover it?

After upgrading to the latest firmware 7.210 my comfort alarm system has disarmed itself the past two mornings without any user intervention.

In the event logs I see the following at the time it was disarmed:

12/04 06:05 Sign in - User # System Response  

12/04 06:05 Mode Change # Security Off   
 How has the alarm disarmed itself and who signed in? It is almost as if a response signed in and disarmed it but there are no responses that are set to disarm the alarm. How can I tell what response disarmed it? 
Is Firmware 7.210 perhaps a BETA and maybe has bugs?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Very simple question can you use one output from a RIO01 to run 2 outputs on a RLY01H (would there be enough power from the  RIO01 to drive two relay points eg 3&4 indefitnetly or will I be forced to use 2 outputs from the RIO01 to control the outputs on 3&4)

Some installations may require SNMP interface for the monitoring of the EMS Sensors and alarms.
The 3rd party SNMP to Modbus Master Interface module (HD67164-485-B2) may be used for this purpose.



This requires a UCM/Modbus-485 configured as a modbus Slave. The Modbus RTU (RS485) terminals are connected to the Modbus terminals of the SNMP to Modbus interface which acts as a Modbus Master. This has been tested in a CM9001-EMS system and works well. Let us know if any other information is required for this application.
