As it says above really. I have a couple of Europa steel enclosures that have switches in them for controlling outdoor lights.

I opened one  of these up yesterday, and noticed an amount of condensation on the inside walls of the cabinet. The cabinets are sealed except where the mounting bolts go through the back. I may unbolt it and fit rubber washers to see if it helps, Is this a common occurence, and if so is there any sensible way of controlling this ?

I\'m thinking that it would be great if say an IRIO with a pair of modules would work as a 4 or 8 channel two way switch module (so 2 or 4 per sub module,  depending on what fits).

If it were possible to din rail mount the IRIO too, then we could fit them in din cabinets in place of the other types of switching control modules. 

These  Imo are a big plus, as it removes the need for a ucm plus a controller for whatever the other technology is.

Hi perhaps people can add there own insight, tips and thoughts.
Here is mine
First thing to understand is Zwave itself.

Step 1
The controllers Primary and Secondary need to be central in the building as much as possible. Zwave inclusion is a bit like layers of an onion. That is include nodes closest to primary controller - Vera in my case first. Then include the next onion ring of nodes - those that next furthest out. Normally  there are only 2-3 layers of onion and possibly a forth. These layers correspond to ZWave hopping its messages to the next layer in the onion ring. Get ALTUI and you can see this ZWAVE network and the ZWAVE quality.

This is very important
Vera uses signal strength to determine when to hop or not, and therefore build its network. I had Vera stuck inside a metal network cage and a Qubino Pilot wire stuck in metal Dimplex smart radiator.  I had to include this node with all metal cladding in place so that Vera would know how weak the signal is and therefore using Hoping. Hope this makes sense.

Step 2
The more nodes the longer it take to build network information. Vera might take hours. Use Polling, Stress testing and Healing network in Vera and ALTUI(Heal on Menu More/Controllers).

Step 3
Include Comfort in the Network.

Comfort
Learn is a two step process. This really should be split into two different buttons in comfort, or allow manual override of node type in Comfort
Learn in comfort is
Step 1 - get all node IDs from Vera - the ALTIDs (these do not  change from learn to learn) by going to Vera itself. Just getting the Node ID will set the Comfort node type initially to Basic node and you will be able Dim, Set ON or OFF any ZWAVE device.
Step 2 - Now after getting Node IDs Comfort then goes to each node directly- talks to it to determine node type. This where if the device reports temperature or other sensor information Comfort will be set the Node type to Multilevel Sensor. You will then be set a Sensor Number to Zwave device for temperature for example.
However Comfort Step 1 and Step 2 - Step 2 is too much of hit and miss affair. I will post seperature email to explain how managed and what step 2 experience has been like. Hopefully this can be changed. However eventually I have got node types set other than basic but as I have a lot sensors it taken too much time to do it and its still not complete.

I am a user from Portugal and I have a problem in the KNX module when receiving temperatures from knx in celciuos. I assign a 2 byte object in knx and put it in a sensor, but the temperature values lost the decimal values in cytech. For example, 21.60ºC appears as 22 in cytech. Is there any way to keep the values with the decimal part?

The KT03 name appears automatically as Keypad02 although you can change this it does NOT save. Same with any comments in the comments box. Also if the ID changes from the original the name still stays the same.
Has anybody tried using an existing .cclx file and updating firmware etc lately... I\'ve just managed to get comfort in a major tangle with just 2 KT03\'s the original file etc . It appeared to want to alter the IDs and the gave 71 trouble even though the keypad had assigned it\'s I\'d as 8.......

I have both comfort and cbus running their own time systems, but have just upgraded to ETH03, which is a reliable system. I have always had problems with Cbus going random on DST, so would like Cbus to pick up its time from Comfort, or have comfort transmit the time to cbus regularly, rather than having competing systems. Is this possible?

I am trying to get my three zone heating which is currently controlled in a fairly basic manner by comfort, to a more complex and functional setup based on temperature values, and I am failing miserably with it.
My setup is as follows
4 x 6 button scs panels with temp sensors.4 x velbus heating relays as follows
Relay 1 activates the oil burnerRelay 2 activates the living zoneRelay 3 activates the bedroom zone.Relay 4 activates the hot water zone
So, with the above 4 relays, relay 1 must be on anytime one of the other relays are requested, for example
The hot water zone is activated by an scs button, which activate relay 1 and relay 4.There is a hot water storage tank, with an old fashioned thermostat wired to a comfort input which turns off relay 4 once it is activated (and then turns off relay 1 if no other resources are calling on it)
The bedroom or living room zones are also activated by scs button, and the idea is that the scs temp value from each of these zones controls the relevant velbus relay (and also relay 1 if no other resources require the oil burner to be on)



I am  hampered by the fact that my heating must draw on relay one when any of the other relays are activated.  I had a relatively successfull implemetation of this, using a counter increment/decrement to determine if the oil burner was required. As each of relay 2,3 or 4 was activated or deactivaed, I incremented a \"burner required\" counter to monitor the need to have the relay 1 on or not. When the counter reached 0, the burner was turned off.
The functions feature within comfigurator I thought would be the most straight forward way to implement temperature controlled heating, except that the functions feature does not allow you to control anyhting beyond a comfort relay, so I cannot use it to directly control my velbus devices.
Another user suggested that I use the functions feature, but create a loop which monitors for the state of a dummy output that I assign, and then respond to activating my velbus relays dependend on the state of the functions output.
I did this, but I just couldnt get it to work alongside my \"burner required\" response, the loop kept doing the counter increment/decrement every loop.
Anyway, long story short, looking for some advise on how best to implement this, I am both out of ideas, and probably out of ability now at this point also.

I have just exchanged the ethernet controller to an ETH03, and at the same time upgraded the firmware to v2.20. The controller is a Comfort II Ultra, file system 34, version 7.057. The communicating computer is win 10 on the same network.

The problem is that if I now try to connect to comfort over the network I get the warning \'Failed to connect to UCM - please check the UCM connection settings\'. I also have an oddity in that although I have upped firmware to 2.20, the CSM shows it on the bottom of the screen to be 2.0.9 (see image)
I have maually entered an IP address which I know is clear on my network, and can ping it successfully.
I haven\'t a clue where to go from here, any ideas?
