In the Comfort App, the control menu items can be seen as toggle buttons which reflect their state. Pressing the button will toggle the state ie On to off and Off to On

This applies to Android and iOS app although the iOS screenshots are shown here




In order to be able to get the app to display like this, the Control menu must be programmed as follows





Each Control Key should have feedback assigned

Feedback type may be  Flag,  Counter, Zone, Output, then select the feedback register, eg Counter 1, Flag 2, Zone 60, Output 1

For example Control Group 0 Lights, Control Key 1 is Porch Lights.

The Feedback for Porch Light is Output Porch Light
The feedback allows the app to know if the device is on or off.


In the Control Menu, the words for action key 0 should be \"Off\" and action key 1 should be \"On\". [color=\"#ff0000\"]DO NOT reverse the keys ie 0 for ON, 1 for OFF as that will cause the wrong status to be shown[/color]

Action Key 0 word = off (not \"light off\")
Action Key 1 word = On (not \"light On\")

Save the file and send to your phone using File > Convert cclx file for iOS/Android app


Close the app before tapping on the jrlcclx attachment

If you have modified the  cclx file to send to your device but the app shows the old control menu without changes this could be due to the old file being selected in the phone, especially with Android. Delete the old jrlccip file before converting the cclx file to send to the phone

We are about to fit lights down our driveway.The original intention is to run an armoured cable down the drive,  loop-in style between the lights.It\'s not practical to run a cable from each back to the house. These would all be turned on as one set. We have a pir at the house end of the drive, and a vehicle sensor at the far end, which will hopefully be used to turn them on via comfort.
I\'m now wondering though if I am missing a trick here, and whether there is some way I can individually control them. It would be cool if we could turn them on in sequence,  It would also be handy to have a hidden switch or sensor at the remote end when walking up the drive.
I am considering installing a cat5 cable alongside the armoured for flexibility.
My question is,  what is a reliable,  cost effective way of doing this ?X10 micro modules sprang to mind, wondering if there is a better option though.

I have been having problems with random allocation of DST changes, so went to check the firmware version of the ETH03 module. I was surprised to find that the Comfort Service Manager doesn\'t find the module, whereas the DS Manager does. Could this be the root of my DST problems?
If so how do I upgrade the module to ETH03?

Hi,

I am reprogramming my confort, but have a lot of responses I would like to export and import to save some effort.  I have tried exporting responses as a scenario, but Comfigurator crashes everytime I do.

Is there another way to export and import responses?

Hi, I have recently lost my current cclx file due to a HDD failure. I had used the file backup service provided by Cytech but has been a while since backed this file up. I am hoping I can still use the one backed up and look at the changes to have a up to date file. At this point I thought it might be a good idea if Comfigurator allowed you to \'login\' to your Cytech account and then gave you the option of also backing up the file to cytech automatically. This could be an option during the normal saving locally process? I understand people might be just testing something or may not want to save all the time but the option would be good. Knowing you have a current file always backed up would give piece of mind. Thanks

And I assume the same would apply if the \"Wait 30 Seconds\" were replaced with \"Do Response3 After 30 Seconds Using Timer01\", i.e., Response3 would obviously not be triggered but would subsequent actions in Response1 still continue?
