I have a flag in my system that I\'d forgotten the purpose of so I tried to use Graph References. I\'m using the latest Comfigurator 3.14.10.
I can graph references to all my other flags but when I try number 1 I get the error shown in this pic.
This is repeatable.
Any ideas?

I\'ve just been installed a new UCM/4G7608 UCM and had to upgrade my main controller and ETH03 firmwares so I thought I may as well upgrade my Slave too...
Slave is on 7.141  and after a module scan Comfigurator offered me 7.207.
I can see from other posts in this forum that is probably the latest firmware for my older hardware (purchased ~2011).
However, when I tried to check for firmware upgrades Comfigurator gave an error saying the cbf file is not compatible with the module being upgraded.
Can anyone explain?

You must have an account with a Central Alarm Monitoring System company.

They will give  2 phone numbers for their Alarm Receiver, and an account number which is minimum 4 digits. This account number identifies the customer and Site.  

In Alarms >Phone numbers, only the 1st 2 phones 1 and 2 can be assigned to CMS (Central Monitoring System). Phones 3 to 8 can be assigned to others eg Voice Phone and SMS (if there is GSM Module. 

In Alarms, > CMS, enter the Account code that has been assigned to your site for both CMS phone numbers. The same account number is normally used for both sets.

Two way Voice should be unchecked as it is not used. Format MUST be 13- Contat ID which is the standard communications format for CMS




Make sure each Alarm Type that is reported to the CMS has phones 1 and 2 checked in the checkboxes.


To test press F3,3 on the keypad. This starts a dial out to the 2 CMS numbers. You will hear the dialing tones and DTMF tones that are send to the CMS which ends with a kissoff tone from the CMS, followed by Comfort hanging up the phone.  Dial Test is a very useful feature that is unique to Comfort  as it lets you know the progress or success or failure of the CMS dialout, eg the CMS line may be busy where you will hear the busy tone

call the CMS operator to check that they received a TEST message.

I have finally received my new UCM with the A7608 module from Laser so that I can use VoLTE to try and improve my chances of dialing in to Comfort.
 
I removed my existing UCM/GSM4(3G) entirely (not just the daughterboard) and installed the new UCM with new A7608 module and gave it the same ID number 2 as the old board.
 
After powering everything up it seems to work at a basic level as I can dial the SIM card and Comfort answers and I can now actually sign-in (well, it worked on second try whereas with the old module I could rarely sign in). I can also do the (?) text and get a sensible reply.
 
However, all of my custom SMS control config is not yet there – I assume I need to reload it via Comfigurator but I don’t want to do it incorrectly and wondered if you can advise?
 
I opened my existing config and logged in – I noticed Comfigurator now says my signal is “Strong”, which is good, and I can see all my old config, but can I just do Write to EEPROM, or do I need to make any changes first?   I’m assuming it is using cached information about UCM02 as it says the type is GSM4, version is 7.141 and latest version is 7.240, processor is N.A, and GSM Module type is 5320-3G, which must be the old once - hence why I don\'t just want to risk corrupting things by trying a Write to EEPROM.
 
Comfigurator seemed to do a scan automatically as it popped up an error box saying the module scan had timed-out. I tried another scan manually and it gave the same error.
 
Because this is a different type of UCM do I have to delete it and then re-scan to find the new one? If so, will I lose all of my existing config of Customised Messages and Control menus?

On that page it refers to the new UCM as the UCMA/4G7608 – is that the same as the A7608 one I’ve just purchased? That page also mentions needing firmware 7.245 – is that the UCM firmware? I assume with it being new it will have compatible firmware already?
 
Anyway, if you can advise on the best steps for what I should do now the replacement hardware is installed that would be great. My main Comfort controller firmware is 7.175 (if that matters).

This problem may be caused by incorrect detection of power failure state. The 24 hoyrs interval corresponds to the 24 hour Battery check where the Power is switched of for 2 minutes to detect of the Battery voltage is low. Please upgrade to the latest Comfort Firmware higher than 7.200 to fix this

Hi,
I get a communications failure alarm when I manually turn on a velbus light via its pb input. 
I noticed it when using home assistant, as the HA alarm panel goes to \"triggered\" state when this happens. Other than that there is no other indication of a command failure apart.from looking at the logs in comfort.
Anyone with any idea what could be creating this, or how to disable or mask it ?

Home Assistant - Custom Card \"#\" button  The native Alarm Control Panel card does not include a # key for Force Arm, so you need to create a separate custom button card that can simulate the # key. One option is to install the Custom Button Card and then call \'arm_bypass\' which is configured to send a # key code instead of arming into Custom bypass mode. The Custom Button Card has been added via HACS

The procedure below creates a custom button for the # (or Force Arm key). However, it will not appear automatically in the Overview Dashboard. You either have to Take Control of the Overview page, or Create a new Dashboard where you can add items manually. I prefer to add a dashboard and leave the default Overview dashboard alone.

Assuming you have created a new Dashboard (default type),  eg named \"HOME\". Take Control of it so you can manually configure. click in the pencil (EDIT) icon on the top right of the new dashboard, then click on Add Card button on the bottom right.
Which card would you like to add? - Choose Custom-Button from the list of available button types.

This is on 24 hours so anyone can log on

The hardware consists of a CM9001-ULT/ARM with SEM01 slave, ETH03, a Slave and a Raspberry Pi4.  The Admin setting is disabled so no settings can be changed. The outputs are not connected to anythings so nothing can be damaged.

The Inputs 17 to 20 are Virtual Inputs; Front Door, Living Room Window, Living Room PIR, Kitchen Window.

There are switches in the UI to open and close the virtual inputs. This in turn shows the state of the Inputs separately


This allows you to Arm the system to HOME ( ie Day in Comfort) and Away. Arm to Away Mode requires the Front door to be Opened and Closed, or if it is already Open, it must be closed.
There are Lights that can be controlled by outputs: Bedroom, Living room, Dining Room (dimming). The Dining Room is a Counter so it can be dimmed by changing the value in the counter from 0 to 255.



(there are no real lights connected).
There are Comfort Responses, eg Away Arming Turns off all lights, Intruder Alarm turns on all lights, Entry Alert (Front Door opened when system is armed) turns on the Living Room Light. Also the Living Room Movement PIR turns on the Living Room Lights for 10 seconds.

UCM/4G A7608 ARM Firmware GSMA 7.245 for A7608 4G module with VoLTE

New UCMA/GSM 7608 4G/LTE GSM Module supports VoLTE for Voice dialing.

With the end of 3G GSM Networks in several countries, the UCM/4G GSM Module (SIM7600) is not able to dialout as the old module does not support VoLTE. It can still send and receive SMS.The new UCMA/GSM7608 with Arm Processor is the replacement which can dial by Voice (using VoLTE) and and/receive SMS

The UCM/4G cannot be upgraded to the new GSM A7608 submodule as the base module is not compatible.
