I have a comfort alarm installed with peripheral sensors and PIRs and a ZWave board. It works well.
I have as well, another BMS with ZWave and need to communicate between them.
For alarm state e.g. day, night, away etc. I pick up the state in Events/Miscelaneous events/day mode partition 1 and set a response to set a Zwave register to a value. (off=0), day=10..etc.) The other BMS treats the register as a dimmer and polls the state every minute. It works a treat and the other BMS knows what security state the house is in. (It took a while to understand the hidden range conversion from 1-255 to 1-99!)
I would like to be able to signal the state \"that the alarm had been triggered\" to the other system but can\'t find an event driven response that I can program to set the ZWave register in comfort to 100 say.
Could someone explain how I do it please?

I\'m currently running Comfigurator 3.12.1.0 on a Windows XP SP3 on a VirtualBox virtual host. Everything is working fine.
I tried to download several later versions (3.12.5.0, 3.12.4.0 and 3.12.3.0) from www.cytech.biz. When I unzip any of them and try to start either of the two files inside (a setup.exe or the other one, .msi), I get this same problem, like in the screenshot...Help, please...?

Hi, ever since I installed my UCM/GSM4(3G) module last year I\'ve always been convinced it doesn\'t quite work correctly when there is an AC power failure. Initially I assumed the local cell maybe also failed at the same time (although unlikely) and each time I have a power failure there seem to be some missing SMS messages but I never get around to investigating further at it works normally again after that. \"Normal\" means that various zones trigger SMS messages and I also use various Control menus via SMS.

However, this time, the first power failure for 7 months happened when I\'m away (we normally get ~1 power cut per month on average). Comfort dialled me via Landline and reported a power failure. I did also receive one Power Fail and a Power Restore SMS message but then the power went down again for a couple of hours.

Now that power is back I can dial-up comfort via the landline and that is okay but it is refusing to respond to SMS texts and if I phone the SMS module it answers (with silence) and then disconnects.

I\'ve managed to get a VPN connection and retrieve my event log and I can see various failures where it tried to send me other SMS messages about power failure and restore but more worryingly I can see various events that I don\'t understand: \"SMS Dial Failure #89\" events and also 98 /99 / 100 / 16 at various points and also \"SMS Trouble ID # UCM 2\" and \"SMS Restore ID # UCM 2\".

From the Comfigurator \"Get Status\" mechanism I can see in the toolbar that UCM status of the GSM Module is showing that it does have a good network signal and then the status message status \"Normal/No error\".

Anyone got any ideas?

When a zone opens and causes an alarm it will dial to the programed phonbe numbers for that alarm type (normally Intruder Alarm). If the zone (eg door or window) closes and opens again, it will cause another alarm and another dial out. If the cause is a window or door which is not properly closed and repeatedly closes and opens multiple alarms and dial outs will happen.

To prevent repeated activation of a zone from causing multiple dialouts, set the Zone Autoshunt Count accordingly see below screen. 0 means once the zone is activated and causes an alarm further activation of the zone ie close and open again will not cause any more dial outs. Default setting is 3

I have a UCM-ETH03 running v2.23 on a UCM at v7.110 and Comfort at v7.140

I\'m using smtp2go using mail.smtp2go.com and port 2525. I\'ve proven my username/password via another application.

I have a static IP on the ETH03 with the correct gateway & mask & DNS so all is good I think.

I\'ve got all alarms ticked for email 1 but I get no email for arm/disarm or dial test (or anything else). Problem is I don\'t think there\'s and diags on ETH03 or at the smtp2go end either.

Any thoughts appreciated.

I have a Comfort II with the latest firmware installed (just upgraded it).  I have this odd behavior that when I go into the menu system, it often repeats itself.  For example, if I go to listen to a message it will say \"Monday, Monday, Monday, Monday\" and then the message.
Likewise if I go into Security Test menu (F+3) and then press 1 for battery test, it will just say \"One, One, One\" and not actually go into battery test mode.

Upgraded to Gen2 board. 
As was setup on the Gen1 board, Output 16 on a LEM is connected to external status LEDs (and set as as a \"Status\" output in Comfigurator). LEM is upgraded too. 
On the Gen1 system, these LEDs used to flash in a Alert state (say on entry delay)  but now just show \"armed\" or \"off\" - no alert flash even though the keypad status LED may be flashing. 
Is this a Gen2 design or have I missed something obvious ?
