So far I\'ve been able to connect to the device via the ethernet eth03 connector but as soon as I try to read the logic module I get the following attached error.
Ive also tried to scan for all modules in the configurator application however Ã also recieve the exact same comfigurator error.
Do I need to upgrade the firmware or software or something?
I believe this install was done 5 years ago and I am using comfigurator version 3.14.3.0.
If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated.

Counters can be used to count events

eg Zone Response
Increment Counter008
If Counter008 >= 3 Then
Do Response Turn on Lights
Set Counter008=0
EndIf

This will increment counter 8 whenever the zone is triggered, when the count reaches 3 it will Do a Response to turn on selected lights, and reset the counter to 0

You can also Add a counter value or subtract a counter value

eg
Get Counter 5
Subtract Counter 6
Set Counter 7

This means Counter 5 - counter 6
The result is saved to another counter 7

Counters can also be used for Feedback in the Control Menu

Note that The Counter Menu does not need any words in OFF and ON action keys

In the Comfort App, counter as feedback will appear as a Slider

The slider positions correspond to counter values 0 for off (slider to the left) and 255 for full scale. the scale 0 to 255 corresponds to dimming levels for most lighting systems

New
Create a new configuration from a blank template

Select the Comfort Model, (usually Comfort II Ultra or Comfort II Optimum).

Open
Open a saved cclx file

Restore from Backup
Restore a previous version of the cclx file from backup location. The dialog box will ask for the file name and backup date. Whenever a file is saved Comfigurator automatically backs up the file with the date of backup, so that old versions can be restored.

Save
Save the current program as a cclx file. Comfigurator automatically backs up the file with the date of backup, so that old versions can be restored (see Restore from Backup)

Save As..
Save the current program as another filename, or a Template (*.cctx) or a Comfort 1 .ccl file

Convert File System..
This converts the current program to another Comfort Models File system.
This is used when a system has been upgraded eg from Comfort 1 to Comfort 2, or from Optimum to Ultra, so that the new system does not need to be reptogrammed.

Convert cclx file for Android/iOS App
This starts the browser and opens the iOS/Android Upload page for the cclx file to be converted into a format that can be read by the iOS or Android apps as an email attachment. see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum110/3864.html for android, and http://www.comfortforums.com/forum122/4007.html for iPhone.

Import..
3 Options are available

IFR Files - Import IFR files for Infrared Remote Control into the IR Codes Library

New
Create a new configuration from a blank template

Right Click on any Response and select \"Graph References\"

This opens a new window which shows the connections between the Responses and what triggered it as well as what other responses are activated by it

This helps to troubleshoot and debug the programming of Comfort

Cursor over a Node to see Tooltip

Double-click Response Node to make it the Target Response.
A Response node is shown with the lamp icon. Note that only a Response can be a target
Double Click the Target Response (in blue) to Edit the Response

Select a Response from the Responses page to change the Target Response

The boxes are colour coded as follows: the Target Response is in Blue, other Responses are in Green, and other events, ie not Responses like zones, time programs, outputs etc are in White. This helps to identify other Responses which can become the new target by double-clicking on it.

You can select Engineer Mode, which is what is used to program Comfort (what everyone is familiar with), or User Mode from the View Menu

The purpose of User Mode is to allow end users to perform user programming line record and hear messages, arm and disarm the security system and operate the Control menu

The features of User Mode are

See the status of Zones (Active, Inactive, Bypassed, Trouble)
Arm and Disarm the security system, see open zones, and allow Force arming
Operate the Control Menu and see the feedback
Operate the Blinds and Thermostat functions
Change Time Program times and enable or disable individual Time Programs.
Change Reminder times and Vacation Programs
Record, play, erase Voicemail, Greeting message, Reminders, Alarm Message, User Names via any keypad. This feature provides a direct shortcut to the voice menu on the keypad so it makes it easy for users to find the correct menu to perform these messages.
Do a Dial Test to dial to all the programmed phone numbers
Change User Sign in codes, phone numbers, and Number of Rings

User Mode does not allow the programming of Responses. The user can switch to Engineer Mode and do their own programming, but the new facility of automatically backing up the cclx file before write to Comfort will allow the old file to be restored from the computer

When you have a program configuration to write to Comfort, go to the Transfer Menu

Write (PC > Comfort) will write the configuration to Comfort.
Before doing that, you should have set the UCM Connection Settings as described in http://www.comfortforums.com/forum92/3398.html
The status bar at the bottom will show the UCM connection, in this example, Internet (Local) IP address 10.0.0.24 Port 1001. If this is the correct address setting, then you can go ahead to write to Comfort.

The dialog box will appear;

Normally, check Set Date and Time and uncheck \"Write User Codes\"

Enter your user code (default 1234) in the popup window.

Comfigurator starts writing to Comfort as shown below

This normally takes less than a minute.
When completed, Comfort resets automatically and the keypads will announce \"Security Off\"

When you run Comfigurator, it will ask you to select the Default Template

A template is a default file for Comfort according to the model selected. The drop-down box above will show the list of available models. Comfort II Ultra or Optimum will be the most used models. Check the Comfort model before selecting.
Press OK to confirm

Comfigurator will open with the chosen template settings

The left pane shows the programming categories, namely;
Configuration, Security, Security Type Settings, Telecoms, Control, Events, Schedule, Names.
Each of these categories has a + sign which opens up items in the category eg Events in the above screenshot

The middle pane shows the properties of the item selected in the left pane, eg in the above screenshot, the Configuration category items are shown

The status bar on the bottom of the screen shows

the connection method (USB, Ethernet, or Rs232) and the communications address eg IP address/Port or USB serial number or COM port. The above screen shows Network (local) with IP address unassigned.
