Does anyone know if there is a newer serial protocol document available?  The one I can see for download on the Cytech website is from 2018 and the last updated on the final page in the change log is December 2018.
I\'m experimenting with the koochyrat python MQTT interface (described on another thread) and I\'m seeing various serial commands/events that are not mentioned in the protocol document.

I have installed a new UCM/ETH03 component on my system. The initial install went well and after completion I was able to connect and able to use the UCM for its purpose.
Then I saw the UCM/ETH03 was not on the latest firmware and updated the firmware. The update completed (or so it seem), and asked me if it should scan the components again. I selected yes and then it required the sign-on password again. From this point onwards I was not able to login. It constantly replies with the message to go the UCM connection settings.
I\'ve also seen a comment on the forum where someone had a similar problem after an upgrade of the firmware and then had to downgrade the firmware on the ETH03 component to connect again. I have tried that, but no difference.  
Is there a way to reset the UCM board back to factory settings, so that one can start the install process again?

In Comfigurator, select File > New > CM9001-EX


The hardware is exactly the same as the other CM9001 Models. Only the Firmware, File System,  and Vocabulary is different.

Sorry, realised I should have posted my question here instead of in the firmware pages...
I have upgraded Comfort, Slave and UCM GSM4 this evening with no issues. All on latest non-beta versions.
I then upgraded UCM ETH03 from 7.098 to firmware 7.141. It said it was completed and suggested a module rescan but now I cannot connect Comfigurator any more 
I have reset Comfort but still no luck.
I can run Comfort Server Manager and see the ETH03 module (firmware 2.23) and I can ping it from my PC but I just cannot connect to it on the configured ports 1001 or 1002.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should try next?

There may be problems with using a Gmail email address, depending on the phone platform. The email may not be received when send to a gmail address.
Please use another email address, eg Hotmail, outlook

Also the Gmail Email app may have problems, even if it is used for a non-gmail eemail address, eg if you use it to download hotmail email addresses, It seems to truncate the .jrlccip file attachment so that it is only a few bytes. The jrlccip file should be several kilobytes in size. If it is less than 100 bytes that there is an error and will not work

My ETH03 has 2 ports configured 1001 and 1002.
I usually use the first one for Comfigurator and I\'ve recently been testing a separate Comfort->MQTT Bridge connecting to the port too.
I had forgotten there was a second port and I\'ve now proved I can connect both at the same time - e.g. Comfigurator to 1001, and my MQTTBridge to 1002.
However, my bridge also seems to see messages to/from Comfigurator, so I assume the Comfort connection is more of a bus than an individual point-to-point connection?
So... can I assume it would NOT be safe to use Comfigurator to do any programming if my module was also connected and active? i.e. I should only have 1 device connected to Comfort via ETH03 when programming?

I\'m trying to avoid running a wire to a door by using a Z-Wave door switch. I cannot understand after many readings of the manual and forum posts how (if it is even possible) how to do this. I can see the switch in the z-wave mapping but then it all gets a bit confusing to me - I\'m an amateur at this. If this is possible what do I need to do? thanks in advance

I will be fitting a RIO01 in an out building and would like to know if I can use an alternative PSU to power it up, Obviously it has to be 12V but what is the maximum ampere that it can accept and minimum? as it may need to be protected by an inline resetable fuse. Also can it use 12V DC as the power source as against a 12V AC power source?
Although it can possibly take the power from the main comfort panel, The main panel is not far of its maximum power output, and would rather avoid using that as a source and I cannot find any technical specs on max power input ect on the RIO01.

Hi,
i just went to update some users on my confort system, and despite doing everythinig I could (its a fairly straightforward process), my new users were not getting added (after downloading the updated config file in full), and I comfirmed this by trying my new user code on the keypad, but got no response.
In the end I had to manually created the user in the keypad?
Has anyone else had this issue or noticed, or am I going mad
