I am testing a new Wired to Wireless interface from AJAX called OcBridge connected to Comfort II.https://ajax.systems/products/ocbridgeplus/
This new wireless solution is bidireccional and has some level of control on the polling of the devices (sensors).One of the \"advantages\" is to be able to spare (extend) battery life of sensors by reducing activity under certain circumstances determined by the state of the interface OcBridge being \"armed\" or \"disarmed\".And this is achieved by command of the input \"IN\" of OcBridge:
The input “IN” is designated for connecting transistor output or thecentral unit (panel) relay (PICTURE 1). If the “IN” input condition changes(Closing/Opening), the whole set of sensors connected to the receiverare set to “passive” mode (except for the sensors ticked as 24 h active),with the initial state restore – the sensors are set to “active”, and the redlight is on. In case several groups of sensors are used independently onthe central unit, the ocBridge is to be set to the “active” mode even ifonly one group of central unit is in armed mode. Only when all groups oncentral unit are deactivated, is possible to set the ocBridge and sensors to“passive”. Use of “passive” mode of the sensors when system disarmedwill significantly improve battery life of the sensors.
How can I use a Comfort output to set \"IN\" armed or disarmed (in OcBridge-ian terms) ?

The Comfort Bus Monitor is a diagnostic tool that displays all the communications on the Comfort RS485 Bus. This is useful when troubleshooting communication or operation related problems.
Comfort Bus Monitor is included in Comfigurator
In Comfigurator, go to Tools and select Bus Monitor. 
You will be asked to enter the user code.


The Bus Monitor Screen will appear
The Port field shows the UCM Connection. In this examole Network Remote means the connection used is Network Remote in Comfigurator Options > Settings
There are 2 buttons: Start and Bus Analyse
Press the Start button. You will be asked to enter your Comforty sign in code






After the connection is done, the screen will display the communications on the Comfort Bus with a description of each line. Press the Halt button to halt the monitpr. Press Save All to save to a text file which can be sent to support@cytech.biz to support troubleshooting.
The boxes \"Show ID\" is for entering specific IDs as filters so that only the IDs entered are monitored.
In this mode the normal polling and reply messages are not shown, only the messages with content are shownIf the \"Bus Analyse \" button is pressed instead, all messages inclduing polling and replies are shown. This mode is useful for diagnosing communication related problems like bus collisions and conflicts.






NoteWhen using the Bus Monitor with ETH03, exit from Bus monitor may sometimes  not work correctly. It may be necessary to reset the ETH03 module by pressing the UCM reset button

This was a surprise as I cannot understand any good or bad reason for it.
Being so apparently unreasonable, I question myself if it could be something caused by me.But what? I do not even know how to do it so thoroughly (ALL Flags)
I noticed because I had setup a response 75 to zone 1 as it is always nice to have an audible response to testing.
It was chiming before firmware upgrades performed on all modules (see previous topic).Right after FW upgrades I heard no more chime and thought it was something with the sensor on zone 1. Played response 75 directly from Configurator and no chime.I assigned zone announce to zone 1 and it was working fine.I played DoorPhoneChime (response 67) and chime was played
Response 75 tests Flag1=0 to play the sound (although it says it tests Flag16 - old error)I checked the flags and they were all set to ON.Cleared Flag1 and chime was again OK with response 75
Then I looked if I could Write Selectively Flag1 to 0 from Configurator to Comfort (just to check)I found I could not (no selection) Therefore I could not have done ALL Flags ON this way.
So, my questions are:

1. Is it supposed to start with all Flags ON as default (previously all flags OFF) ?
2. If yes, why ? and how it helps ?
3. If not, how can that possibly have happened to me ? How can that be done, even if unintentionally
4. How can I \"undo\" ALL Flags ON and set them OFF?

After 20 years of use of my old Comfort I, I am at last starting to setup things to replace it with Comfort II Ultra.I started by assembling a basic configuration with UCM/Eth03, LEM03, 3xKP04 (only connected one). Coonected just an external Wireless system (of which I will talk about later) with only the Front door sensor configured.Installed Configurator 3 on PC and did some basic acquaintance tests and everything looked as expected.Two days after (today) I went on and, as advised, I went after the upgrading to the most recent firmware for all the components.Everything went on smoothly without any glitch or surprise.
From the back of my head I think these were the versions updated:

• UCM from 7.117 to 7.136
• KP04 from 7.005 to 7.014
• Comfort from ? to 7.160
• And Eth03 to 2.23

I must stress before starting that my problem is VERY occasional. Over the last few years, I have \'lost\' the ability to see the ethernet module on my home network a couple of times. Quite randomly! Of course, this means I cannot use Comfigurator to access my Comfort system. It is definitely not a \'level 1\' (wiring) problem! For some unknown and unexplained reason, my ETH03 module just appears to hang and so can\'t be accessed. No IP address; can\'t be \'pinged\' etc. I can fix it - relatively easily - by switching the power off to the panel; removing the cover and disconnecting the battery.  :X  When I reapply power, everything is fine again, and it just works - exactly as expected. So, my question is - is there any programmable method using engineer mode from a phone or the keypad (both of which continue to work, of course) by which I can \'reset\' the ethernet module. This would be far easier and much more convenient than the power-off; panel access etc method. BTW, this doesn\'t seem to be a firmware function, either, since it has occurred with a few different firmware variants installed. Many thanks for any comments!

I have recently purchased a farfisa PL11P bundle with a DM02, I have successfully installed the door station and DM02 and all is well.
Phase-2
Now I need Comfort to open my gates via the keypad and this is where my knowledge and programing of comfort is limited.

My ancient bell box/strobe has finally given up the ghost. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good quality replacement that works well with Comfort?
