Was hoping to upgrade my existing door station and found Ring Elite with good reviews at the moment.

Is it possible to integrate Ring door bell with comfort. I am interested to know if I can unlock my door (12V switch) through Ring app.

I have a comfort system installed at my house and couple of months ago I upgraded UCM ETH03. Since then everything has been going fine.
There was a thunderstorm in our area few days ago and a loud cloud burst was heard over our house with possible lightening strike to our roof. Soon after this, our alarms went off, the outside siren was activated. The keypad inside house displayed RS232 communication failure with Slave 1. Since I was not home at the time, I asked my wife to disconnect Comfort (by turn AC input off and disconnect battery) which helped to turn siren off.
When I arrived in evening I connected Comfort back to power, tried to turn off siren from keypad. I checked RS232 cable from main board to SEM (slave), reinstalled my backup files into comfort. This resolved error displayed on keypad but siren still kept going.
I eventually disconnected siren from Comfort as its was becoming annoying to neighbours.
Everything else is working fine since, except if I connect siren cables back to comfort, it activates siren and sound doesn\'t turn off.

I would appreciate your help in resolving this error.

The status of Timers can be seen in Comfort Registers > Timers






The \"Show Status\" button will show the Timer as OFF or ON, and if ON, the remaining timer in seconds is displayed. This is a useful tool when programming and testing Timers.

Register Monitor
The new Register Monitor feature is very useful when you want to monitor a range of Comfort registers; Zones/Inputs, Outputs, Counters, Flags, and Sensors. Before this, you had to go to Zones to monitor zones, Outputs to monitor outputs, Counters to monitor counters, etc. This new feature allows all required registers to be monitored in a single window.

Go to Comfort Registers > Register Window.



The Login window appears. Enter a valid  user code.
A new window appears \"Add Register to Monitor\"



Select Counter, Flag, Output, Sensor or ZoneThen select the register number according to the register type selected
Continue adding registers to the monitor window.




The real time status of the Registers are shown.


You can change the value of the register by cliicking on Status.

Hi,I have a Comfort II Ultra, 7160. UCM01, 7.119, has ETH03I have 2 ports assigned, one for Configurator and one that my HomeSeer system connects to.Everthing has been working fine for some time.Recenly I noticed that I was not getting a connection through either port. I have a static IP.If I load Comfort Srver Manager, if the ETH 03 is responsive I can see it in Server Manager.
I spent some time looking at the system, the only way I could rectify the problem was to disconnect ETH03 and then reconnect.Doing that cleared the fault for a couple of days but each time it has returned.
Any ideas?

One of my two KP04 (version 1.017) stopped responding to keystrokes about 4 days ago.
It constantly shows the ID# and Version on screen.
I have Comfort Ultra (7.160).
The other KP04 as well as KP06 are responding without any issues.

Odd problem.
Changed 10yr old Cequra1 box about 18 months ago for a Cequra Super plus. All seemed to work but on routine check after a few months I found the strobe was only working intermittently - flash a few times then give up or not at all. I thought it was a board fault and swapped to a new identical unit I keep as a spare. This appeared to work initially but soon developed same problem. Tried a third - same story. Never a problem with the siren circuit. Checked wiring to box is good.
Bench tested with 12vdc and the strobes worked but did appear a worryingly flakey at times. Cequra customer service say that there are no known strobe problems with this unit.
Checked Comfort outputs (PC01-070A ULT 7.x)
RTN -- tamper
Hold off+ -- SRN+
Hold off neg -- COM
Siren -- SRN-
Strobe -- STB-

With 1k resistors fitted and connected to box;
SRN+>STR- 1.2v off, 13.1v on
STR->COM 12.5v off, 0.6v on
SRN+>COM 13.7v
On open circuit with resistors, the values are about the same.

This looks correct to me. Comfort is pulling the STB- output to <3v when on.
Can\'t fathom out what is the problem here. 3 bell boxes with dodgy boards ? Excessive current requirement ? Anyone else come across this? Should I ditch the boxes and try a newer LED unit - I understand these are 10yr old design? Thoughts appreciated.

Noticed this week that my CM9000 based system has developed a noticeable hum; noticable in that it is heard through the wall in my sons room next door to the closet where it is installed! ☹️

Any ideas guys. Is the transformer known to start humming after a few years etc?

Panic alarm by defaukt triggers the Intruder Siren TypeIf the alarm is required to be silent, then assign the Panic Alarm > Siren Type to 0 (Null)
When panic button is pressed, the siren will not sound on the external and internal siren. Strobe will not turn on
The keypad will announce \"Panic.. Panic\"
