currently, when mapping comfort zones to KNX Group Addresses, 0 = Off, 1 = On.
Is it possible, to allow the user to invert the values sent to the bus: 0 = On, 1 = Off ?

My tracking of CCLX files has got out of sync,  and I\'m not sure if I have the latest file for my system or not.  Is there anyone to check whether the \'running\' configuraiton on a live system matches a CCLX file - e.g. to enable me to know if I\'m using the latest one or not...

Hi there, 

Definite beginner to this! But experience of X10, LightwaveRF, ZWave and Domoticz – so not new to the concept or technology! Apologies for the long post, but I\'m hopeful that this is all the information required for me to get some pointers!

Long story short, I\'ve bought a house, which had an install (from what I can gather) around 2009 of Comfort II Ultra (I stand to be corrected on this!). It took quite a lot of research to even find out what it was, as it\'s just a cupboard full of PCBs! Sadly, quite a lot of it was disconnected by a previous resident, and I\'ve connected some of it back up – to the point that I *think* it should be working-ish. That being said, I can\'t get any response from either of the 2 keypads (speech, or noise of any kind) – although the external alarm sounder did sound a few times, and it seems to open my garage door when power is restored to it after a power loss!

I\'ve just bought an UCM/ETH03 module for it, in the hope that I can connect it to the network, and at least troubleshoot whats wrong with it, before working out what it was set up to do. Fingers crossed the main firmware is new enough for it (if thats even a thing?).

I think it is a combined Alarm (PIR sensors, with IR receivers in every room) Automation (I have a remote control that can turn lights and sockets on and off) and most likely Flood sensor (sensors in every room with running water, but I think this has been bypassed. I would guess a failed flood sensor caused the water supply to go off!). There is a sensor inside the main front door, and a proximity sensor of some kind next to the patio doors.

The modules I\'ve found so far are:

PC01-057A - small board on slave MPU01-ULT - Microcontroller upgrade

I think what I\'m after, initially at least is:

1) Will the UCM/ETH03 work with it, or will I need something else to update its firmware before I can use the ETH03?
2) Am I likely to be able to get into it with the UCM/ETH03, or will I need passwords etc (or are there default passwords – the biometric door stuff I assume part of the same install was all left on default passwords)?
3) If I can\'t get in to it, can I do a full reset and start again somehow?
4) Any top tips or do\'s and don\'ts for connecting up the first time, or anything else I need to consider?
5) Can I troubleshoot or test inputs/outputs from the software (I assume this may become self explanatory once its connected it)
6) Is there any advantage to doing any firmware updates, or is it best left as-is?
7) Any initial housekeeping I should do, once I\'ve got into the system (remove older users etc) 

Its not a full-time house, but I am heading out next weekend (just for the weekend), and hopefully taking the ethernet module with me, if it arrives in time. So some pointers before that would be really appreciated!

I was changing some cabling today trying to diagnose the persistent inability of the Velbus UCM to connect to Velbus, and so to remove any possible causes of errors, where cabling installed did not align with the manuals, I changed it: e.g. for the ETH03 UCM, the manual says use either the white 4-wire cable, or the KA/KB and 12V/COM blocks,not both. My install had both, so I tried disconnecting so to only leave the white 4-wire cable in place.
I\'m not sure what caused it, but my ETH03 UCM is no longer functioning - I could connect no problem before, but now cannot get any connection from Comfigurator, and cannot see it in CS Server Manager. 

I have a static IP address of 192.168.1.41 mapped to it in my router\'s settings and this has not changed. I tried doing the reset of holding SW2 and then tapping SW1 and holding SW2 for another 10seconds and the D2 led came off and on as expected, but the ethernet report is non responsive. Both LEDs are off on the ethernet port, the green one occassionally blinks for a few seconds and then goes fully off for a while again.

I restarted my router and the switch the ethernet cable is connected to. I then followed the instructions here (though I don\'t have a crossover cable so was just using a normal one) to try assign a static IP address and connect that way. My Dell XPS15 does not have an ethernet port so I was using a Microsoft Surface USB one and when I clicked Ok to validate settings, it gave an error, and then showed the network adapter as cable disconnected. Every few seconds it would go back to \"Identifying\" but then back to unplugged.

Nothing has changed on my network or server side. I have now disconnected almost everything from Comfort, leaving only the ETH03 UCM connected to the main panel, and I have set the dip switches on it all to On, for ID 1 (though note that it was coming up in my configuration as ID =2, so I\'ve tried that setting too, no difference). 

LEDs D2 and D3 on the ETH03 are constantly on, and on the baseboard D1 is constantly green and D10 and D9 constantly flicker. Seems the issue is the ethernet port is not picking up a network signal, could it be a hardware fault?

after upgrading to the V.7.160 i started having some odd issues with my garage doors opening by our own, so i checked the changelog and i suppose it\'s due to this

Counters:
The Counter Response is also activated when Comfort changes a Counter value. Eg by Responses/ Action codes or Control menu. Previously, Counter Response is avtivated only when the counter us changed by a UCM

Is there a way to check if the response is triggered by my KNX/UCM or if it\'s triggered by another response/action code?

Hi,
I have periodic issues with my front door (zone 1) activating. I have re-terminated the door sensor and fitted a new mag switch but I have had another zone activation. I have looked at the log (below and attached) and can see that the zone is reporting activation/restores.
Does anyone has an idea the cause? I don\'t want to keep bypassing the zone, and leaving the zone unprotected.
Any assistance greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi has anyone fitted  a \"proximity sensor\" Not a PIR to a comfort system and what how was it connected and activated on the system, what were the requirements to do so, what were/are the issues of using a proximity sensor. be much appreciated if anyone has any first hand experiance on this

Today I tried to update my comfort system and while exporting (writing) cclx file from PC into comfort I encountered this error\"Failed to write to UCM\"
Error keeps repeating no matter how many times I try.
My system is still using UCM ETH02 though I have order a new UCM ETH03,  it is not going to arrive till end of next week. I have lost control over most of the lights and curtains in the house so if I get UCM ETH 02 updated with a new cclx file I might get temporary control over the system till new UCM arrives. Any help to sort this will be much appreciated.

• Slave RS485 Communications Failure is displayed wringly in the status bar as Door station ID #-15. But pop up message Slave Communications Failure ID#1 is correct.

• KNX/Logic Action send to KNX uses invalid ID (shoukld be 1). Do not use KNX actions for KNX/Logic
