After many many years, I finally got round to doing the UCM cable upgrade method and performed a system wide upgrade of Comfort from v6.0x to the latest and all the UCMs. That appears to have been successful.
I then noticed today some lights were on and some groups not updating from CBUS, although I can still control CBUS OK where I have the CBUS switch activate a Comfort output, so not totally disconnected.

Anyway, I thought I\'d just go and re-write the entire current Comfort configuration back to Comfort and have a clean config. The problem I have is that any attempt to write the config to Comfort just resets Comfort, the write bar stuck at 0%.
I\'m using Comfigurator 3.12.15 via one UCM, and I\'ve also tried Comfigurator 3.6.8 on a different UCM. Attempting on both exhibits the same issue. I also yanked the power to the board and the battery, and tried again, same issue.

So, right now I have a \'sick\' system that isn\'t totally response, and no apparent way to re-write the config back. Each time I make a config change I create a new file, and have copies going all the way back to 2004. My latest config was created a week ago and worked perfectly well before the firmware upgrade.
Any ideas on how I can debug this, or reset Comfort to be able to write the config back?

Have a little problem working out to configure announcing my drive way alert when this zone\'s sensor is triggered during the day only.I had this selected to announce on the zone itself, but the with the number of triggered announcements by animals through the night it has  become a pain.During the day though, the announcements are welcome so as to determine when someone has entered the drive when the gates are open.I am trying to have a zone announcement during a specific time period, but having written to the system it hasn\'t worked. I haven\'t done any programming on the system for some time, so my approach and programming are a little rusty:
I have set up the following:
-TimeProgram09 to execute response 127 at 0700hrs
-Response 127:     Set Flag Flag004     If input DrvWayPer <>0 Then        Do Response 126     End If
- Response 126:     Say ZoneName
-TimeProgram10 to execute response 128 at 2230hrs
-Response 128:     Clear Flag Flag004
If this isn\'t the correct approach, I would be thankful for any assistant given.

The new KP04AET Keypad has the same features as KP04AE (see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum139/4912.html ), but in addition  includes an internal Temperature sensor. The temperature reading is saved in one of 32 Comfort Sensor Registers which can be monitored on the Keypad LCD or on other KP04AE keypads.

Hi

Does anyone know of any alternatives to smtp2go? I have iCloud, Yahoo and gmail accounts and all of them automatically mark smtp2go emails as SPAM. There is nothing that I can do to allow the messages through to my inbox because even if I mark them as safe, add my email address to the allowed list they still go to SPAM and I believe it\'s because smtp2go server is black listed by these hosts.


Does anyone have any alternative outgoing servers?

Is there a simple version history for Comfort 1 available?
We have a number of ICs for \'Outside\' and one labelled \'M4.83\' but we\'re not sure how the Comfort1 versions relate to each other.
Also, what U4 ICs are compatible with each version if we ever have to change them.

I know, I know.....You will say \'upgrade these systems to Comfort2\' (or is it Comfort3 now?) but sometimes the most cost effective method is to keep the original system running.

I have a customer with quite an extensive Comfort system 
It did have a number of X10 lights.The customer has upgraded to Philips Hue.
I\'m pretty sure that the UCM Pi will provide 2 way communication between comfort and Hue.
What I need to know:
As an integrator I have many years of experience with comfort. However I\'ve not touched the Pi. As a one off how long is it realistically going to take me to set up from scratch a UCM Pi and program and test it to operate (say) a dozen lights with timers on/off?
I know this is open ended but I need an idea is at a day or a week - how can I justify the cost to the customer.

I was puzzled why I got a \"Homesafe\" notification by ETH03 when the Comfort Flood alarm tripped (Alarm type 26). The reason is that in ETH03 Alarm type 26 is \"Homesafe\" even though Alarm type 14 \"Family care\" does the same thing. There is no Flood alarm type on ETH03.
Any way to correct this on ETH03?
