Hi I am trying to connect the Z-Wave module to Samsung Smart Things but am unable to find the network. Is it possible to connect it directly or do I need a Z-wave remote control first?

Known Bugs

1. CM9001-EMS sensor event log recording is wrong from sensor 9 to sensor 32
2. Trouble alarms in partition are registered in random partition and may be restored  in different partitions so cannot be cleared except by reset – old bug
3. Keypad request security  mode at reset may get wrong partition securrity mode.
   

• Latched output  for Slave, do not  check if Output is the same as current state because if Slave Output changes rapidly,  then the slave may report its state to CM after a delay so Comfort  may not have the correct state, eg IP17 > OP 17, and IP 17 On/Off very fast before OP slave has a chance to report to CM,  then OP17 will be on and not turn off after IP17 On and Off. Fixed problem that slave OP ON and Off can be missed out
• SMS Repeat Timer minutes added for OPT and ULT for repeat SMS
  
• CM9001-EMS implemented Residual Offset to set zone trouble in virtual input
• CM9001-EMS added events 36 to 67 for reporting sensor values 0 to 31
• CM9001-EMS Report sensor changes to event log if virtual input changed state  and every hour  if no change in virtual input state
• Cold start default  date to 6 July 2018
• CM9001-EMS, F key time out without another key will not cause beep error, so KP04A F key in ems mode can send F key as well as EMS sensor display . Does not affect non EMS firmware
• Fixed BUG get status from modules did not work on ETH03 plug in on CM9001
• Vocab Upgrade commands enabled non-ascii hex format for faster transfer Total 18 minutes by ETH03+ CM9001
• Added command switched S12V command on/off by rs485 controlled by id
• Fixed bug for VL vocab upgrade comand via ETH03 to CM9001 used to get VP0015 or VP0016 after a few lines. Caused by Keypad requesting IVS info. Vocab upgrade by eth03 plug in has never worked. The event log currently only tracks the events of the alarm.
Would it be possible to have the option of the event log tracking timers, counters, flags and response activation etc? 

When are the updates for the event \'users bug\' due?

I, i have the \"arm Away method\" set to \"After exit delay\". and sometimes after send to the alarm the \"Away\" command and starting the arming i get a arm failure before the exit time runs out andi don\'t understand why.
What can cause a arm failure before time runs out?

this is a brief how to about to integrate Siri and Node-Red https://nodered.org into a Comfort alarm system.
This is not a detailed instruction on how to do all the things, i\'ll simply explain you that this is possible and relatively easy, if you know Node-Red and if your passion is the technology.

Benefit:
Dual way communication between Comfort and Node-Red
Dual way communication between Comfort and Siri
Arm Away, Arm Night and disarm Comfort via Siri and Node-Red
Check all Comfort\'s connected sensors (doors, windows, garages etc...) via Siri/Home App
Receive notification on your iphone when sensors are triggered or alarm are fired.
Fully integrate Comfort into Node-Red to do advanced logic and to sync Comfort\'s date/time.

You need:
Comfort panel (obviously)
UCM/KNX
iPhone/iPad/Mac or any other Apple device capable of using Apple Home App and Siri.
Node-Red installed on a RasperryPI, for example.
A standard KNX to ETH router (any).

Do you know Node-Red? It\'s a fantastic piece of software, capable of runninbg on any Linux or Raspberry machine. Go and take a look of it.
It includes a plug-in system. You can integrate KNX and Homekit (Siri) plugin in it.
Wonderful. I used it and i created a \"flow\" (piece of .js software) that connect Node-Red to KNX and Homekit.
\"Antifurto\" in orange, is the Homekit (Siri) device, in this case, the Comfort arm/disarm device; the green things are the KNX devices (mapped via UCM/KNX) to Comfort and controlled via the KNX to Ethernet Router. The other salmon-orange boxes are the logic functions, wrote in Javascript. The other blue boxes are there only for debugging pourposes.
You can add every comfort\'s zone to a different Homekit device, for example, you can map doors, windows etc.. to each Homekit device you need to control with.





What next? Open the Home App and add the devices as normal
You need then to open the Home App and add all the zones/Alarm. You can now control all with Siri and receive notification when a door or window is opened, or an alarm as triggered.
You can disarm the system or control Comfort\'s output relays.

With the rapid increase of our remote access monitoring and upgrade service we are increasingly having to upgrade Comfort systems remotely.
As you will be aware in order to perform an upgrade the customer has to physically press F0 on the keypad.
Would it be possible to add the keypad to the user mode in comfigurator? This should then allow F0 to be activated remotely and thus give the installer a route to upgrade remotely without any physical presence on site ?

I know there is an update due on this but would it be possible for you to point me towards a list of user sign ins as reported within the event logs
I have user 1: user 18: user 19: and user 65 all in the same page of an event log. And categorically the arm disarm procedure  is set up to use a wireless keyfob to arm and disarm through a force arm response connected to an input. NO other method is used to arm dis arm e.g. they do not use the keypad.

You have explained this before BUT its not been updated and ITS VERY confusing.
So what was user 19 and 65? and WHY is user 18 listed when that\'s the engineer sign in !

I am about to have some people install a new comfort system, upgrading from comfort 1 which controlled house and Z10.
With new system, I am planning on integrating with ZWave.
Can people please recommend a good Zwave primary controller / kit to start with. I have read on forum Vera Edge and seen posts of Figaro but would really appreciate some advice on what are good devices in UK for comfort integration with the ZWave UCM

Bear in mind that we have placed monitoring in a number of server rooms and the actual physical monitoring is achievable with a variety of different products. However if the data centre manager cannot pull up a graph or get an alert then your not going to sell it.
