I seem to be having a hardware issue with my SEM01 & attached SEM02, Neither of the the units will take my PIRs they constatly flick between active & inactive the setting used for these particular PIRs (the SEM01 & 02 work fine with door contacts and relay sensors).

So far I have had to move the pirs to Comfort II ULTRA Control Panel for them to work and they also work on the SEM02 in the Ultra panel, This is the only workaround that actually works this is the first time I have tried to connect these PIRs to the SEM01 panel I did recently upgrade the firmware but cannot be sure if this made any difference as I did not have them connected up to teh SEM previously also because I am not currently installing a panel for anyone at the moment I cant test to see if it is a hardware issue.

Problem encountered:

When arming to any mode, away, night,  day the arming does not complete, although no zones are announced.

This may be due to the Tamper Input left open, but Nondetector Alarm for Tamper has been assigned to Null Alarm instead of Tamper Alarm Type.
When the Tamper Nondetector Alarm is set to Null, it means that when tamper occurs, it does not cause a Tamper Alarm Type, but is ignored. However Comfort does detect Tamper but does not announce it, but does not allow the system to arm - thus the arming does not complete

This probably happened because the installer did not want to connect the Tamper Input, but instead dxecided to disable the Tamper alarm in Nindetector allarms. The result is the system cannot be armed.

The next firmware (after 7.117) will fix this so that if Nondetector Alarm for Tamper is Null, the system can be armed

I had this issue of seeing in comfort server manager ( CSM), my comfort ip address blinking constantly. Using wireshark, I discovered that there is no loop in my network and this blinking stops when I disconnect another device on my network. 
When this device is connected, I can see that all of my ethernet devices reply to the pc/30303 port and again and adain. Hence CSM  receiving every few milliseconds the right answer from comfort and making the PC /CSM window look likes blinking.
When my other device is out of the network, the answering sequence to CSM /port 30303 from all my ethernet devices only happens once.
But looking at the two wireshark captures, I cannot determine where is the problem. Any idea  on how to solve that?My other device is on the same sub segment, it is a device collecting energy comsumption details ( ecodevice made by GCE electronics).Thank you

I have had a browse but can\'t find an answer to my question.
I have a Comfort II. When a door station doorbell is pushed the internal phone rings. I have a DECT system with caller ID, the phone shows \'External\' when a doorbell is pushed.
I have two doorbells, one at tthe front of the house and one at the rear.

My question is; is there a way to identify which doorbell is pushed on the internal phone?
If there is it would be handy to set a different ring tone so I know which door to go to!
 

I use a CQR Security SC570 G3 magnetic door sensor with my Comfort alarm system. Most of the time it works fine but in very cold weather it generates a zone trouble alert. As it is on the entry door this can stop me setting the alarm. The system still seems to be able to detect when the door is opened and closed even if there is a trouble alert happening.

The sensor is fairly advanced, it has built in configurable resistors for easy installation (you cut a couple of wires which correspond to the correct resistor values) and it has both a magnetic interference reed and a tamper switch to detect people trying to interfere with the system. Unfortunately the complexity is hampering me now as I suspect one of the anti-tamper devices doesn\'t like the cold and is causing the problem. If I just changed the jumper for that zone to NO EOL would it operate simply as an open/closed sensor without it taking into account any of the tamper stuff?

Looking forward to setting up the iPhone app but just thinking about the internet security.
Does the app use any form of end-to-end encryption for the commands/login codes sent to Comfort?

I appreciate that fundamentally Comfort is the alarm but also been testing ST in armed mode.I do however get an intrusion detection which states\"audio and siren muted\" I\'m guessing ST needs a wait when disarming. Anyone know how to resolve?

Hi,When calling my gsm module, I have the welcome message \"sign in\" , but have a \"wrong code\" when typing my *XXXX#. Same if I sign in from my landline phone . If sending **xxxx#*xxxx#, it works locally. My code is ok when signing in from the keypads.How to get in when calling my gsm module?Thanks

Hi,Very interested by this project.In my case I have a home automation system ( GCE IPX) that I inteconnect through physical relays and entries ( so limited interaction between the two). My HA system can integrate small widgets ( json, html ) to collect data from other components and send orders through the net.Would this project help me to interface my system with comfort?Thanks

Hello ,I just installed a GSM4 module. I am struggling finding a good position for the antenna and get a better reception. The log indicates a lot of trouble/restore messages.The best I have so far is a signal strength 2.

1- Is there a way to lock the module on 2G?

2- My antenna is very closed to the roof. So adding the adm02 modules should not help me I guess. Would it be possible to expand the antenna cable and put it outside on the roof? Or would an external and amplified antenna would be a solution?Ant recommended product?Thank you for your
