Hi guys,  I tend to get one or two subscription errors a day - this causes me real issues with my webcore pistons as the states for sensors tend to be wrong after an error.  EG my gates think they are closed when they are actually open so when I arrive home my gates close instead of open!.  OR my phone buzzes that the doorbell has rung shortly after the subscription error when it actually hasnt.
Does anyone have any ideas what the issue is?  Wonder if it is as I have version 3 of network in and havent put in v 3 yet.
Very greatufl for any thoughts.

I had a KNX system installed in my new home end of 2011 which controls heating and lighting and also had a Comfort II system installed which provides security as well as a few other things.

I am think of purchasing a copy of ETS so I can familiarize myself with KNX, see how it works, how I can make changes, etc. I know to communicate with KNX I need a KNX/USB or KNX/IP interface but these seem to run quite expensive.

Seeing as my Comfort II system has UCM/KNX module installed, will ETS allow me to configure KNX through this interface over the LAN, assuming I also have a UCM/ETH03 installed?
Or, will I have to just purchase a KNX IP or KNX USB interface?

Hope my question make sense, I am just getting started.

I had a Comfort II system installed by around end 2011. I don\'t know the Comfort firmware version. The installer did some maintenance around 2014 so may have upgraded the firmware but I cannot confirm.  
I want to purchase the Comfort UCM Ethernet Interface V3 (UCM06/ETH03) to allow me to start playing with Comfort features and see there are some firmware requirements. I read UCM Firmware 7.028 and above is required for UCM that comes with UCM/ETH03. I presume this is for the UCM that comes with the ETH03? If so, I\'d hope the package I buy would have the correct firmware.

Are there minimum firmware requirements for Comfort also to work with UCM/ETH03?
Reason I ask is because I don\'t have any USB interface to Comfort, I was hoping I could use the ETH03 for firmware upgrades and programming going forward.

If I need to upgrade Comfort firmware before I can use ETH03 then I will also need to purchase UCM/USB which I\'d like to avoid to save cost.

Any assistance appreciated.

I am looking at using micro sensor (undecided which ones I will use) on metal railing gates for pathway and drive way which would be direcly connected to comfort zones covering two purposes, firstly to act as a perimeter warning and secondly to control front area lighting. My question is what sequence would you use to send a signal to ST and then in turn that could turn a smart TV on to a hdmi port for the CCTV? PS At present I am asuming that you would use Zone monitioring in ST with a command attached!  However I was wondering if this could be short circuited by having direct control from R-PI (as you maybe aware I am not a great fan of any cloud based systems). I\'ve been running the system rock solid for around a year. Today I lost ST communication the Comfort interface so plugged the Pi into an HDMI to see what it was doing. It seems to have changed IP and it doesn\'t except my login credentials. Its now sitting at \"login alpha-uhai\".I can also access the Automation interface.Any help greatly appreciated as I have become reliant on this.Thanks 

Some help please - I’m looking to install 3 room thermostats to work with Comfort, which can easily be set to change the room temperature, depending upon the time of day and state of the Comfort  alarm. The existing volt free room stats all switch Comfort inputs, working responses.

I have researched the Heatmiser in great length and conclude the only new models that will work with the UCM/Heatmiser are the Touch-N and the Heatmiser Slimline, both V3 protocol and look good. Further confusion arose when selecting the 12volt Touch-N; there used to be 4 different versions, from simple temperature, to fully programmable with hot water. NOW there is only the one Touch-N.

Can anyone offer help in selecting a simple none programmable room thermostat? The Cytec TSM01 unfortunately has an external sensor and the cost for 3 would be similar to going down the Heatmiser route. Are there any better alternatives, which are easily programmed, or is the Heatmiser the best option? It has to be 12volt as it’s already pre-wired.

The new  Firmware has the following changes;

1. Backlight turns on when the Keypad speaker comes on to make an announcement or in voice menu. The backlight is turned off after a few seconds when the speaker is turned off. This fixes the issue when the backlight turns off when arming or in voice menu or event log when no key is pressed. Pressing a key already turns on the backlight
2. Backlight remains on in Setup mode (long press * key) so the backlight does not go off while doing setup

KP04A and KP06A firmware versions have the same numbering
7.007 (27 April 2018)

• Changed default “Keypad Tamper” setting from “Enable” to “Disable”. Most often,  kyepad tamper is not required at least until the system has been programmed. Hence the default is now Disable Tamper. This can be changed in the Settings Menu

• KP04A and KP06A supports 4 Partitions in Comfort security

• After and alarm, and system has been disarmed, the  last alarm zone is shown
• After the above, if any key is pressed on same keypad or Comfort is armed again, the alarm message will be cleared. The 1st key pressed is otherwise ignored
• Supports showing new device range (eg. HIO) in trouble messages. Requires Vocab to be updated in Comfort

• Self test Upon reset, 4 LEDs (Disarmed, Armed, AC, Messages) are lighted up individually, followed by 1 soft and 1 loud beeps.

Hey guys, Happy new year & all that... :-)
I have an issue to bring to your attention that you may not be aware of... - it\'s primarily come about because I\'ve started playing with ActionTiles.
In essence, any of my Comfort devices that are mapped to counters don\'t appear to have a status registered in smartthings... (see image)
I hadn\'t previously noticed this, but in ActionTiles it results in the tiles initially all having a big question mark in them instead of a status.  Note that Pressing the tile causes actiontiles to send an off command to the device, and thereafter it does seem to correctly track the status, and updates the tile even when the device is controlled from elsewhere...
Interestingly, when the device is operated, regardless of the source of the command, the switch status in smartthings never shows anything other than \"unknown\" for the switch status, although I do see the level changing correctly...
Is it possible that you can update the switch status as well as the level in smartthings?
