Cytech\'s new version of the Logic Engine, LGX01 has a plug in connector for ETH03 Ethernet interface or USB01 USB Interface which acts as a UCM so another UCM is not necessary. This replaces the part number CM9000-LOG

I have a Comfort II with Zwave3 UCM.My primary zwave control is HomeSeer with a Z-Wave.me UZB stick.I have set up zwave within Comfort, it shows the physical nodes from my existing controller as well as some virtual nodes I have set up.I can control zwave devices from Comfort and control the virtual devices from HomeSeer.
So far so good.
I have a plugin socket that has \'Counter\' as its \'Registered type\', it is mapped to Counter 11.When I turn the socket on or off I see the counter value change in Comfort (via Comfigurator).
I also have a battery operated zwave sensor on a window. This appears in Comfort (having learned from the existing zwave network) and it is also mapped to a Counter, Counter 10. I know the sensor works as I get a response from HomeSeer, but the counter does not update in Comfort.
I suspect that it may be related to the sensor having a number of child devices but if that is the case, how can I get Comfort to recognise a change in a Child device?

I am looking to add a UCM ETH03 to my Comfort Ultra II and have a few questions please;
I have owned Comfort II Ultra for around 10 years now and am running very old firmware v5.121. 
I also have a CBUS UCM with firmware v5.134.
Can you tell me if I will have any problems updating my firmware using ETH03? 
Also, I have a Cat5e cable running from my Comfort Enclosure to my Wifi Router.  Will I be able to connect to Comfort via my laptop using my home wifi?
Finally, using ETH03 will I be able to connect to comfort via my android phone using the Comfort App?

This problem has been reported many times over the years

All users codes are not accepted. The code is reset back to 1234.

This is possibly due to the Function Key F#.
The default setting is to go to Answering Machine Menu
It will ask for the user code. After entering the user code, the menu is
\"0 to Erase Mailboxes
1 to Add User
2 to Erase User\"

If you select 0, then all user codes and messages are erased and the user code defaults back to 1234

This probably happens when the user is in a hurry to disarm after an alarm, and they press F#, then they enter their code and press 0

If a user says they have lost their code, 1234 may work

We shall remove this Function Key in the defaults
It is advisable to make the change using Comfigurator for existing systems

Comfigurator automatically backs up every version of cclx file, so that you can restore an older version of your configuration

Go to File > Restore from Backup



Select the cclx file. The screenshot below shows all cclx files that have been used on the PC. In our case, we work with many files, but in most cases you may only have one or 2 filenames.




After selecting the file, select the backup date





This restores the version selected


The backup files are saved in C:\\Users\\(user)\\AppData\\Roaming\\Cytech\\Comfigurator\\backup

You can purge the unused files from this folder if no longer needed

I have not played with my Comfort config for sometime now (as its stable), however I know on my PC where I store all my configs, there are a couple that were for testing purposes.

The problem I have is that I stored them all in date format eg Config_File_060815 and I know that the running config is a couple of revisions earlier (in date) than my test files.

Is there a way that I can query Comfort to check which config file is currently enforced?
I know I could read back the running config to a file but I always have issues with this this...

Problem
Comfort Date is out by one day but time is correct
This could lead to Time Programs activating on the wrong day

The Comfort Date can be seen on the LCD keypad

Do a Set Comfort Date and Time and immediatetly check that the date and time is correct. If it is not correct, then the date and /or time in your PC is incorrect

If the date and time is correct after updating from Comfigurator;
Is there a UCM/ETH03 in the system?

There is a bug in ETH03 2.14 where the dates in 2016 are wrong. see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum113/3904.html

Upgrade the ETH03 firmware to 2.20 (or the latest) to fix this problem
Also ensure that the Comfort server manager software is updated, as well as the UCM Firmware

As the title suggests. I\'m running v1.7 on a Samsung tab S.I have key press beeps disabled, and volume set to mute.
Despite this, The app clicks loudly when logging in / out,  and beeps loudly too when logging in.
Is the beep a warning ?If so, how do I find out what the problem is.

Hi, Bit of a problem here.I upgraded to comfort 2 pcb, and converted the previous config file to comfort 2 ultra format. I saved the file and all seemed fine. It uploaded to the new board too (checked each zone in engineer mode). There were two issues (see below) but generally it\'s fine.

After the above I then did a whole load of updates for the control menu,  and added the irio configuration. This was again saved, but not uploaded as the irio isn\'t connected yet.

Tonight I have fired up comfigurator, selected the file,  and got the above. 
I have opened the file in notepad and it generally looks ok (I don\'t have the schema so can\'t validate it against that).

On a different subject (so probably needs a different topic, unless it\'s related):

• For some reason it\'s not recognised the login codes,  and is stuck on the default.
• pressing the door bell announces just fine,  but doesn\'t ring the phones. The phones are wired just as they were for comfort 1, which worked great. The phones ring for incoming calls. Looking at one phone it\'s light flashes,  and if I pick it up the line is dead for a few seconds.
• I need to query the status first before doing an upload,  else it fails to find the ucm.

Is it my imagination, do I need new spectacles or are the icons in Comfigurator starting to go fuzzy!
