Some time ago the exterior flashing blue light stopped working.  Then, recently the exterior Siren failed but the interior siren was OK.  I purchased a blue light and a siren. I am too old to get up on a ladder, so I got a good handyman to replace both the blue light and siren.  The blue flashing light now works, the siren does not.  The handyman is sure he replaced wire for wire.  How can I test the siren for connectivity from the Configurator?  Any assistance would be appreciated.  I don\'t have a local installer available.

We went on holidays for an extended period.  The system was armed.  Three days after arming a PIR gave an Intruder Alert at 03:53 (time from log), the System rang me. I disarmed system. I checked a separate eufy camera - no intruder.  Re-armed system.  Three days later, same PIR, same Intruder Alert at 03:54, no eufy intruder.  Disarm and RearmThree days later, exactly the same process, time 03:55.Three days later, exactly the same process, time 03:57.For the next several weeks I used the remote control to Disarm and then immediately Re-arm the system every two days.  This worked and the system was still active and the neighbors were not inconvenienced. I did then slip-up and missed an off-on session.  The alarm went off at the three day mark again at 03:58.Prior to this holiday the arming of the system was mostly for only a few hours or 24-36 hours. It behaved as expected.
I am puzzled with this behavior, can it be just the PIR?  How can I test it?
I am a reasonably experienced user.  There is now no Comfort installer I can call on.  Any assistance would be appreciated.

I had my friend visiting me. He is building house and is interesting in anything regarding home automation. And Comfort was one of topic. 
He liked it a lot until we came to the control function.
Controlling by keyboard was a bit old fashion and my wife haven\'t learned how to use it during 15 years.
Android app was as usual messy with different control buttons. He asked me how it can be in Alexa time 
Did I missed anything what happened during last 5 years?

Using UCM/Modbus 7.167 and Comfigurator 3.13.7 and above, each modbus entry in Modbus to Comfort can have Number of Registers from 1 to 16, as shown below


This means that multiple modbus slave registers can be polled in one command. For example in the above screenshot example on the 1st line, Modbus address 0 Discrete Input  and mapped to Flag 21.  No of Registers = 5 means that  5 sequential Modbus registers are mapped to 5 sequential Flags.
eg

1. Modbus address 0 -> Flag 21
2. Modbus address 1 > Flag 22
3. Modbus address 2 > Flag 23
4. Modbus Address 3 > Flag 24
5. Modbus Adress 4 > Flag 25

CM9001, LGX01 Logic Engine, or UCM/Logic can have ETh03 or wifi submodules plugged in to the main PCB. the plug in ETH03 or wifi01 submodules can act like a separate UCM/ETH03 to allow programming for Comfigurator or access by the  Cytech app.  This is very useful and saves cost compared to having another UCM.

After Scanning for Modules, the Controller Properties will show the Internal UCM version below the Comfort Firmware, as shown below. This shows that the Comfort model supports the plug in submodule, but does not mean that there is actually a submodule plugged in



The old CM9000 will not have the UCM Properties section

We have found a problem on some CM9001 systems with the J3 10 way connector for ETH03 or Wifi01 submodules. The symptom is Comfort fals to start up, and resets itself every 20 seconds.   The problem may be seen on some systems if there is NO plug in wifi01 or ETH03 submodule.   

The wporkaround is simply to plug in one of the EOL  resistors 2.2K or 4.7K between Pin 1 and Pin 7 as shown in the photo below. If the EOL resistors are not availabkle, any resistor fromn 1K to 10 Mohm can be used. he value is not important.

Please switch off the CM9001 system before doing this resistor insertion. If you need to use a wifi or ETH03 plug in in future, you can remove the resistor

It is recommended that the resistor be inserted even if there are no signs of the problem, to prevent it occuring in future
