Comfort is able to comply with British Standard BS8243 \"Installation and Configuration of Intruder and Holdup alarm systems designed to generate confirmed alarm coniditons\" for the purpose of signalling to  an ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre)\"

This is possible without any Response programming by using the Status Outputs feature in Comfigurator





This allows any outputs to be assigned to the Status functions required for connection to a communicator like Redcare or Dualcom

Hi all,
I am using KNX2 firmware 7.097 and I have now implemented a \"Bypass\" feature in my KNX visualisation: Group addresses are mapped with register type \"Bypass Zone\" to individual zones. This works fine so far.
The surprising thing is that this while bypassing from a keypad needs a sign in the KNX bypass telegram works without any prior sign-in, regardless of the arming status and even in Away mode. This means a possible intruder could actually disable the alarm system without any signing in by accessing the KNX bus and sending to the correct group adresses.
Is there any way to make Comfort require a sign-in for a KNX bypass, similar to the \"Need Code\" setting for the keypad?

Bugs Fixed

1. Fixed Dimmer to report counter.
   
2. Fixed bug -Blinds AC function\'s down relay fails to switch off.  This is if feedback counter is assigned and it affects submodule 2 only.
3. Fixed wrong input number reported, when Register Type is set to “Input” for “Digital Input”

1. For Blinds AC function, extend “ignore current sensing” duration from 250ms to 1000ms. This is to compensate for hardware slow detection of low current motors.
2. For Blinds AC function, LED is added to indicate current detection status.  The LED is turned on if current is detected.
3. Support new “Calibration offset” parameter of Temperature Sensor input function.
4. Input function Support of new “Virtual Input” register type, for various input functions.
5. Supports new ISM08  submodule functions.

I have conducted the Dial-out test and it seems that something is wrong.
There appears to be a dial-out taking place (I can hear the DTMF tones) but neither of the two mobile numbers registered to receive calls get called.
I briefly hear a message \"Please check the number ...\"
When I have had alarms recently (not turning the system off in time when I return home) there has been no call received on the dial-out numbers know to Comfort.


I have Comfort 1 Ultra which has been working OK in this respect for 10 years.

Hi, I have an original Comfort 1 that has been reliable for many years. Over the last year we got a few false alarms, not very frequent. I assumed it was the PIR and swapped them out which seemed to sort things.
Last night we had an alarm on a zone which I configured in software but is not actually connected to anything. The alarm was not set to away or night mode. I have never had this zone trigger before. Very confused.
Could something be going bad on the main PCB or perhaps a power issue? Is it work cleaning and checking the connections on the PCB every few years as they could work lose?

Have come across this during a clear out. I had forgotten I had purchased it some years back.
I think it is a older version of a UCM with an out-of-date ethernet daughter board - I note it also has an RS232 connector.
Am I right in thinking the daughter board can be swapped for the later daughterboard and that the UCM firmware can then be updated to 7.098.

Hi All.
I just wanted to give a quick update on how I am getting on with the universal ucm and my AV kit.
My Yamaha amp works well using the commands to device examples below (thanks to help from Cytech)

etc 
I have setup 4 simple momentary switch which triggers a universal ucm command. At the moment this is supported by a IRIO with IR sub board to turn the TV on.
Therefore, with the push of a button I can turn on the TV select a AV device, TIVO, DVD, PC, Kodi box etc, set the desired volume for the selected device  and set the lighting or even set the 3 audio zones in to party mode.
I have just started to look at controlling the Sony android TV, code for this:

I have tried a few other commands Home button, mute etc  none of which have worked yet. I have posts on Sony forums and emailing cytech to see if they have any ideas.
There are several settings on the TV that need looking at under the network setup.
I will keep everyone posted on my progress.
This is sad I know, but at bed time if we are in the middle of watching a program I simple press a button (could be run by the app) it pauses the TiVo, turns off the tv in the lounge, turns off all my lights, turns on the bedroom tv selects the correct HDMI input sets up my amp to show the TIVO and after a couple of minutes starts to play the program again and even set the sleep timer on the bedroom tv. Not difficult to do using remotes, but you can almost guarantee the remotes wont be where you expect them to be, I also need to fire up the Yamaha app on my phone to set up the amp just effort. Using Cytech IRIO / Universal UCM I don\'t have to do a thing other than trigger the event absolutely magic
