Not to subvert this forum, but I\'ve been watching the Pi/UCM thread for a while to get some intelligent controls into Comfort but I was put off by the complexity and the potential for support. If you\'re looking for an alternative, HomeBridge is the answer.
Using an old Pi 3, from start to finish it took me 30 minutes, and enabled every single device type in my house. CBUS (therefore Comfort), Sonos, Ovens, Vacuums, Alexa devices, TPLink modules, Nest, Ring, Unifi - you name it, up and running so easily.
This gives you Siri and Alexa support, and I believe a Google Smarthome option.
I tried the Comfort plugin, but that\'s not ben updated for a few years and I gave it a good shot, it didn\'t work well enough. The CBUS plugin on the other hands works amazingly well, so I\'ve grabbed everything I need from Comfort through CBUS and into Homebridge. So right now, I have selected a few things to voice control on Comfort and that works great.
There\'s a few clever folks on here, who fancies forking the Comfort HomeBridge plugin and making it amazing?

I have a U/UCM with Eth02 which I used many years ago with a RFXCom system, I want to start using again as a regular UCM for Comfigurator.
What I\'m seeing is it won\'t connect to the network, as in the network switch sees no link. It\'s running 7.117 according to Comfigurator.
If I press and hold SW1, after 2 seconds the Eth02 springs to life and the link indicator on the switch shows it\'s connected. As soon as I release SW1, it drops.


I tried this by holding SW1 for 7 seconds whilst powering the UCM back up by reconnecting the RS4 cable, same issue http://www.comfortforums.com/forum119/3522.html
If I stand there, hold down SW1, DSManager does see the Eth02 on the network and you can access it. As soon as SW1 is released, it\'s gone again.

Any ideas as to where I\'m going wrong?

FYI, I now have Siri and Alexa control of Comfort via Homebridge. Total time from start to finish was less than 30 mins.
Homebridge is a well supported solution providing Homekit support, but by extending this you can support so much more.
Today, I have CBUS, Comfort, Alexa, Sonos, TPLink plugin modules, security cameras, ovens, vacuum, Nest, Shelly, you name it, all linked. Each one has the potential to control the other.
I took another few minutes to activate the pre-existing Comfort logic for opening my garage door to appear on my watch, so now I have have voice control over every piece of Comfort and CBUS logic that was in place.

I thought I was in big trouble with my system when - this afternoon- I heard two beeps from the panel and discovered no power - on the keypad. 

On opening \"the box\" I was confronted by D1 flashing - nothing else, no LED\'s on the UCM etc. After a checking AC voltages etc I pulled the off the S12v-com-12v connector and put a meter across the com=12v terminals as going out to sensors etc. I was confronted by 1.9Ω. Next I checked lines to individual sensors and found a PIR that had gone dead short (well 1.9Ω which is likely partly down to cable impedance.) 

I have disconnected this sensor for the time being and will put a note of the make and model up here when I replace it.  

The main purpose of this post is to ask if there isn\'t a fusible link or other device on the main board to cover this sort of event.
System has powered up this evening and all would appear to be OK

Hi,I have recently upgraded my cbus ucm to V2.I have a garage door with a magnetic sensor wired into an input. it registers open or closed depending on the state. I also have an output wired into the garage door button, so comfort can issue a momentary press and open or close the door.What I would like to do is to have a cbus button that i can use to open/close the garage door and its current status is always reflected in the cbus switch (on or off).I have lighting group 21 assigned to the garage door in cbus, and I think I need to configure this as an output toggle in configurator, then configure the physical input to map back to group 21. I don\'t think I need a response in this case as the UCM handles the momentary press?What do I configure the cbus switch as? If I assign an on/off or bell press to it, the act of pressing the button changes the cbus group and interferes with the back status. Help is appreciated.

I have old board which I was trying to replace because LP51,LP52 have blown and I figured I might as well upgrade the board instead of messing about with soldering. However half-way through I noticed that the DP connection for MIC/Voice is not present on the new board (or I can\'t see it). The old board has a door phone module connected to a Fermax door entry system. Is there a way to connect the new board or is there something else I need to do?

Does anyone know the precise screw type for the screw down type of main Comfort panel? I have some M3s but they don\'t fit - seems to be different thread. I am now missing two. (Looks like the attached)

I am no longer receiving SMS (text) messages from Comfort confirming status.
Using SMS text, I can successfully set and unset to Night Mode. I hear the status announcement(s) for the keypads.
But when I send (1) I do not get a status response.
This started at the end of July. I have not changed anything on my system since April. ie no uploads to/from Comfigurator.
I did a reset yesterday (powered down and back up - system was off for 2 hrs.) This made no difference.
What do I look for next?

I have recently started to experience a problem when I ring into the system from my mobile or an external phone. I receive the initial voice message, as normal, at which point I press the * key. I then enter my PIN code followed by # and very often I will receive the message \"Wrong Code\". I will enter my PIN code again, followed by # and usually receive the same \"Wrong Code\" message, followed by \"Goodbye\" although on very rare occasions it will accept the code on the second attempt. This problem occurs approximately 1 in every 4 attempts I make to dial into the system and I can usually tell when it will fail by the number of beeps I hear in reply. I assume that this has something to do with DTMF tones but I am unsure how to troubleshoot this further or how to fix it.
Can anybody help with this issue?
