I have no voice on my recently upgraded comfort 2 and on checking the history log the DSP/Voice Fail has occurred and I have tried resetting the panel. Please advise what my next step should be.

Every time i start the configurator with last default file the program reports the following mistake and the software don´t start.

My configurator ver is 3.12.1 but i think the problem is with the latest update to knx2 of my knx ucm.

Hi, I have a Comfort system installed and working with normal alarm sensors and single Heat&Smoke sensor centrally placed in the house.  When I originally installed it I tested all the zones including using the test button on the fire sensor.

Fortunately the fire sensor has never triggered in a real situation so far. However, something occurred to me today... it is a 24 hour zone. So, what will happen if say we have a very smoky cooking session and the smoke manages to drift through the house to the sensor (very unlikely, but theoretically possible). The sensor will trigger a fire alarm. If we then \'cancel\' the alarm by entering a user code on the keypad, will Comfort continually re-trigger the fire alarm until the smoke eventually clears from the sensor?

The sensor is connected in non-latched \"auto reset\" mode and the docs say it resets when the smoke has gone. So, I assume the sensor will permanently stay in \'alarm\' mode until clear. Even in latch mode, that just tells it to say in \'alarm\' state until power is removed, so even then if the smoke is still present it would trigger again.

So, in addition to my question above - If Comfort would keep re-triggering, how can I avoid this - e.g. force it silent for a period, or something like that?  I want to avoid the situation where I\'m at work and I receive a phone call from home telling me they can\'t silence the alarm because the overzealous cooking smoke hasn\'t yet cleared.  That would NOT go down well.

Will I be able to set a flag when the fire zone triggers and then AFTER the user signs in and acknowledges it, maybe use a Timer for say 30 minutes to prevent that zone re-triggering, or is it impossible to disable fire zones in that way (as I vaguely recall reading somewhere in the docs)?

Does anyone have any unwanted Smartfit UCMs?

I have a 17 year old comfort system that been working just fine until recently.  My hall and landing zones are programmed to turn on lights for 1 minute if the motion sensors are tripped.  I also have commands like all lights on/off programmed on the keypad.
Recently the lights are misbehaving.  Usually they don\'t come on at all and sometimes multiple (incorrect) zones come on and never go off.  It\'s like the X10 controller is sending random X10 on messages.  The keypad menus are also not working.
One physical thing that has changed is I install a BT wifi extender hub that uses the power cables to transmit my network.  I\'ve tried uninstalling this and rebooting but it doesn\'t fix it.
My outside lights are also programmed to come on and go off on a timer.  These use relays instead of X10 and are working normally.
I think this means the comfort board is not sending the correct X10 codes anymore or for some other reason the messages are not delivered properly.
What can do to fix this?  e.g. can I get a new X10 chip/module?

Hi - Ive followed all the advice in the post about getting keypads 9-15 to work.
but keypad 9 just says \"NOT POLLED\"

I have the lastest comfigurator firmware, i have updated defaults, i have restarted comfigurator and comfort but MAXKEYPADS still reads 8 in the config file

please help!

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to post such a query but there may be a minor error in the Comfigurator manual (the latest version 3_11).

On page 100 in the section Upgrading Comfigurator it has this paragraph:

When Comfigurator runs, it will check for the latest version on the Cytech server and prompt if you would like to download the new version. Also Help > Check for Updates will manually check for the latest version. This requires an Internet connection. It is recommended that you DO NOT do this unless the Comfort voice has been lost.

The last part of that sentence seems a very odd thing to say - only check for Comfigurator updates if Comfort has lost its voice. Does it really mean that?

HIO Firmware 7.023 supports the new 5V CPU
Previous versions 7.00x were for the 3.3V CPU which has been superceded

Changes

1. Added 3 more Master scenes (ie. Total 4 Master scenes now).
2. Added new sequence scene function.  With each pressed, a different scene is activated, starting from scene 1 to 4 and back to scene 1.
3. Added new 1-button Blinds function with 2 outputs.  The first output is for Up direction and the second output is for down direction.
4. Fixed temperature reading giving 255 (FFh) for some boards, when TS input is shorted to ground. Correct reading is 100 (64h).

Just a quick note to say we are aware of an issue on the http://www.alphawerk.co.uk server which is causing the Raspberry Pi integrations to be in a restart loop. We are working on the issue and we expect all the devices to restart automatically once we have resolved the issue.

We will be releasing a new version which prevents this from occurring in future, it is as a result of an unhandled exception in the logging routines.

I\'ll update this forum topic as we work to resolve this issue,
